Websites for non-profits, free of charge
Each year, we build a small number of websites at no cost for non-profit organizations whose work we believe in. If that might be you, we'd like to hear about it.
Who can apply
We give priority to groups doing hands-on work in their community, such as:
- Animal shelters and rescues
- Environmental and conservation groups
- Free or low-cost counselling
- Free social services
- Registered charities
- Organizations that help children and youth
- LGBTQ2S+ groups and community spaces
- Food banks and community kitchens
This list isn't complete. If your organization isn't on it, apply anyway and we'll let you know.
What's included
The design and build of your website, equivalent to our Lantern package, at no charge. We'll also set up hosting in your organization's name, with a host you choose or one we recommend. Your organization buys its own domain (your web address), so the site is always yours.
How it works
Send the short application on this page. We review applications as they come in, take on a few projects each year, and reply to everyone who applies, usually within two weeks.
